Oh hello there

Degree qualified and AHPRA registered Chinese medicine practitioner | Period / fertility nerd & educator | Nice guy

I wish I could say that I entered my career knee-deep in passion for pregnancy, fertility and menstrual health, but I got to where I am quite accidentally. My diagnosis of endometriosis in 3rd year of my degree had me going down the rabbit hole.

Once I saw into the historical mishandling of women’s health I couldn’t look away. And once I started holding patients in their experience, I couldn’t stop. I just want people to have a great menstrual cycle, effective conception journey, transformative pregnancy and well… life :)

I have worked with several leading mentors over the years to hone my craft. From them, I have learnt that the beauty of Chinese medicine lies in its simplicity, flexibility and creativity.

I believe strongly in the use of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture for general health maintenance, fertility, menstrual and mental health complaints as well as the management of acute and chronic conditions.

I pride myself at being a welcoming and down to earth practitioner and enjoy seeing patients from all walks of life. I continue to do my best to be an LGBTQI+ ally and I just want everyone to have a good night’s sleep.

A little bit more

I have also completed further training in Tan and Tung style acupuncture which I incorporate into my acupuncture treatments. Both styles are deliciously magical and make for a great chat in clinic. Needles are placed far away from the body part that it being treated. ie. if you’ve got a sore hand, I might needle your foot. And if the treatment is focussed on your ovary, I will likely ALSO needle your foot. Chinese medicine is a hoot, and I will gladly talk to you about the mechanics of it in clinic.
